THE OSPREY SPRINT NOVICE TRIATHLON 2010

Another fantastic event that was well supported by the "novice" and seasoned racer to get the season well and truly going in some style.

Some very respectable times were thrown down today against a slight but annoying drizzle and sea mist.

A mention must go to the 3 Junior members who, racing for the first time today, did exceptionally well against the older age groupers and Miss Ireland even came away in the top 5 ladies, despite her dad doing his best to wreck her race by blowing up her tyre the night before the event! sorry to mention it Nick but next time LEAVE IT ALONE!!!

If you missed this one for some reason then get yourself entered in to the Race to the Bill, the bigger brother to the sprint or the Middle Distance which is the Daddy to all events! The weak need not apply!
