EVENTS TERMS & REFUND POLICY

Should we have to then We the event organiser reserves the right to change the date of the event.

If the participant is unable to attend on the revised date, you will have three weeks to inform us in writing from when the change in date is announced to receive a refund of your entry fee. 

In the highly unlikely case that an event is cancelled at short notice due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control the event will be re-scheduled for the next available date and all entry fees carried over to that date.

If you have to withdraw from any BustinSkin event, this is our Withdrawal Policy:

WE OPERATE A NO REFUND POLICY, ONCE YOU HAVE REGISTERED WE GUARANTEE TO ORGANISE AN EVENT, YOU GUARANTEE TO TURN UP!

 
From the moment we begin to organise an event, we start to incur costs. Your entry fee is invested into the cost of staging the event; hiring facilities, hiring and buying equipment, registering with British Triathlon, etc, Highways and all the other authorities. In short, organising any event requires a considerable amount of forward planning, risk and expense. Once you pay your entry fee that money is spent and with it BustinSkin aims to provide you with a race.

If we don't supply a race, then fair enough, you get your money back.

 
However, if you pull out, for whatever valid reason, then that is beyond our control and that is your choice.
It is unreasonable to expect to get your money back if you cannot fulfill your side of the deal!

If you think about it if pull out of any other event, you don't get anything back at all. If you buy a ticket for the cinema or theatre, and then you decide to go on holiday, get pregnant, get married, go away on business, or break your leg training, you don't get your money back.

Having said all that, life sometimes takes a different turn and therefore providing you give us enough notice, we are prepared to give you an element of your entry fee back. This will be given to you in the form of a credit voucher/email that you can use to offset the cost of any other BustinSkin event.

 Withdrawal credits will be issued after the event, by email and as follows:
• Notification dated 85 days or more before the event = 50% credit
• Notification dated 43 to 84 days before the event = 20% credit
• Notification dated less than 42 days before the event = nil credit

•   Credits do not include any online processing fee.

• No registration packs, goodie bags, gels, drinks, tickets or items associated with a BustinSkin Event entry will be sent to any competitor who has withdrawn from the event or who does not register during the allocated time periods.

Transfer of Entry

• Under no circumstances are applicants permitted to transfer their entry to another event OR another year.

Race Disclaimer: I accept that taking part in any of these events is by its nature hazardous and contains certain inherent risks. I agree that I participate entirely at my own risk and accept that the event organisers are not liable for any loss, damage, claim, expense, injury or accidents which may arise as a consequence of my negligence at this event. I will participate with care and attention, abiding by the rules of the event. I remain responsible for my own property and actions. I am in good health and have done sufficient training to safely complete the course. I have read and understand the event description on the www. BustinSkin .com website and clearly understand what is entailed.
