MARSHALLS FOR 2012

To those of you that did help out at our 2011 events a very big thank you from me :0) We can't do these events without your continued support and we really do appreciate you giving your time up so early on a Sunday morning!
For 2012 there will be a more structured procedure for marshalling, mainly this involves me pulling my finger out a little more and getting the information you need to you before you need it by putting the race info and marshals info on here sooner, giving you the opportunity to read and digest the important things before the normal race day briefing.
Also the procedure for cashing in your marshalling ticket will become a lot slicker, i.e. I need you to register your availability for the 2012 events, you will then be given a dedicated role for that event, once you have marshalled at that event you will be placed on a list for the following,
MARSHAL AT 1 EVENT = 25% OFF YOUR NEXT RACE
MARSHAL AT 2 EVENTS = 50% OFF YOUR NEXT RACE
MARSHAL AT 3 EVENTS = FREE ENTRY TO ANY RACE - OTHER THAN THE MIDDLE DISTANCE, we believe everyone should pay something for this pain :0)
A marshals register will be available on-line shortly and those who have helped out in the past will be contacted asking for your details, much the same as if you were registering for an actual event, this keeps our files up to date and also your information is readily at hand should we experience any problems out on the course, in essence it keeps you safer.
