 Merry Christmas & a happy New Year to all. More pictures from the Santa Run can be found at actionpic, click on the link,  People have told you just how much fun this is, They say it brings back the spirit of Christmas, Well it's all true, Get yourself ready for this years 5K Santa extravaganza, Hundreds of Santa's chasing the lonely Christmas Pudding down the beach in what can only be described as "The best thing yule see this Christmas" Registration will be at Weymouth Fire Station from 09:30 on the day, followed by a walk through town, up St Thomas Street, down St Marys Street and along the Harbour on to the Seafront. So come on, get your boots on and get entered in to this fantastic festive event and in doing so you will be supporting the excellent work at Julia's House. ADULT PRICE IS £10 UNDER 10'S RUN FREE WITH A FAMILY MEMBER. Dressing up is mandatory, 
 Studio photos as above can be purchased on-line when you enter for £10 and used next year for your Christmas cards! Just take your receipt to the studio and remember to smile. SPONSOR FORM HERE PLEASE USE IT:)  Money you have collected before the run can be handed in on the day, thank you, You are heroic and we love you for it ;) Santas to race for Julia's House on Weymouth beachUP TO 500 Santa's will be dashing across Weymouth beach to raise thousands of pounds for sick children. Race director Mark Steen hopes to sign up more people than ever before for the race on December 19th. In the fancy dress fundraiser, people dressed in Santa suits chase a runner dressed as a Christmas pudding along a five kilometre route on the beach. All proceeds will be in aid of the Julia’s House hospice for terminally ill children. Mr Steen, who runs triathlons through his BustinSkin organisation, said: “Santa dashes are massive in some areas. “Las Vegas and Liverpool have tens of thousands of people taking part but it is very new for down here. “We hope to get about 500 people this year and raise as much as we can for Julia’s House.” Mr Steen said: “I think people like the race because it is a fun event. “How often do people get the chance to dress in a Santa suit and chase a Christmas pudding along the beach. It is also all in a good cause and the money goes locally.” Mr Steen is also appealing for more sponsorship from companies for the benefits package for runners as well as volunteers and marshals.
